UPDATE:

The 1500 block of 4th Street will remain closed Monday night and into Tuesday as the City of Estevan continues to conduct a sewer upgrade.

There are a pair of road closures in Estevan Monday morning, including one on one of the busier spots in town.

A sewer upgrade is happening on the 1500 block of 4th Street, with no through traffic in either direction.

The north sidewalk is also closed.

The detour route for traffic coming from the east and west is 3rd Street. Parking is not permitted while the detour is in place.

City Safety Coordinator Helen Fornwald said they won't be sure of when the construction will be done until crews dig down to the sewer and see what they're working with.

The second closure is the 400 block of Devonian Street. There is no through traffic as a water break is repaired. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
