A 21-year-old man is expected to appear in Estevan Provincial Court Monday morning, after shots from a BB gun to a person's face, torso, and arms sent them to the hospital.
The Estevan Police Service said in a release that they responded to a report of a shooting in the Pleasantdale area of the city early Saturday evening. The victim's face, torso, and arms had been shot with a fully automatic BB gun. The victim was stable, and EMS transported them to the hospital.
A 21-year-old Estevan man was arrested for aggravated assault. He was set to appear before a Justice of the Peace on Sunday so that he could be remanded into custody for court Monday morning.
