The Estevan Police Service reported several overnight calls, including a pair of alarms.

One was at a downtown business. Sgt. Tyler McMillen said they located somebody at the scene, but the person had permission to be there.

Police are still looking into the other alarm, which was in the trailer park in the south end of town.

"No entry was gained or anything, but we're following up on some footprints that may be connected or not," said McMillen.

Police also carried out a well-being check at a hotel on a man who didn't show up to work.

EMS also arrived and cleared him. McMillen said nothing criminal was involved.

A male reached out about a friend wanting to turn himself in on outstanding warrants. A meeting was facilitated and the person was released with a court date.

"It's nice when they come forward and make those decisions on their own," said McMillen. "We're happy to clear that up."

Police also gave a noise warning to a male listening to loud music in his vehicle in his apartment's parking lot.
