Police have arrested and charged a suspect following a collision that took place just over a week ago.

On October 29 at approximately 5:30 AM, Estevan RCMP received a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision in the Sunset subdivision, south of Estevan.

Initial investigation determined the adult female pedestrian was walking from a residence toward Highway #47 when she was struck.

The RCMP say that the vehicle did not remain at the scene, with the pedestrian sustaining what were described as serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation continued with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
