The Saskatchewan Roughriders issued a release Monday saying single-game tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday. In the release, the organization stated the fans will no longer need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to attend games at Mosaic Stadium this season.

Those measures were put into effect last September as cases surged in the province.

Saskatchewan hosts the defending-champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers on May 23 to kick off the preseason. The Bombers beat the Riders 21-17 in last season's West Final.

The regular season opens for the Riders on June 11 when they host last year's runner-up Hamilton Tiger Cats.

On April 25, it was announced that proof of vaccination or a negative test would not be required for fans to watch Valour FC matches or Blue Bombers games at IG Field.
