It's Boxing Day and that means stores and malls across the country will be humming. A survey by Visa Canada suggests that over five million Canadians will be out looking for bargains.

Visa's Tania Freedman says two retail categories dominate the Boxing Day Shopping lists, clothing and electronics.

According to Visa's survey, people in the age 18-29 age group are the most willing to wait in line on boxing day.

The Visa survey finds that shoppers expect to spend an average of 233 dollars on Boxing Day Sales.

All told, Visa says Canadians are expected to spend 1.18 billion dollars on Boxing Day Bargain.
