Another summer of entertainment is now underway at the Souris Valley Theatre.

The 2007 season opened last week with 'A Grand Time in the Rapids', a play that concerns attempted murder, mistaken identity, and offers plenty of laughs.

According to Edmonton's Michael Cowie, directing the first non-musical production in the history of the organization presented its challenges, but he expects a positive response to the fast-paced comedy.

'A Grand Time in the Rapids' runs until July 22nd, followed by 'Billy Bishop goes to War' from July 25th to August 12th; performances are Wednesday to Sunday evenings at Frehlick Hall at 7:30.
