The Souris Valley Theatre has announced its summer 2024 lineup, which includes two main stage productions and two touring shows.

“We’ve put together a lineup that celebrates both nostalgia and fresh interpretations, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We can’t wait to welcome our community back for a summer of unforgettable performances,” said Allison Holzer, board president of Souris Valley Theatre. “All of us at Souris Valley Theatre are incredibly excited about the upcoming season.”

The first mainstage production, ‘Greased,’ will run from July 8 to 19 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on July 11.

The second show, ‘Jail House Rock,’ will be performed from August 5 to 16 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on August 8.

Additionally, there are two one-night-only events. Saskatchewan’s own Rory Allen will perform a Tribute to Elvis on July 4 at 7:30 p.m. To wrap up the season, the Szakacs Family will showcase their creative ability to write and arrange in various musical styles, making for a skillfully surprising musical experience on August 22 at 7:30 p.m.
