Kyla Dyer is a 15 year old from the Glen Ewen area who is going through a tough time right now. She has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a very serious condition where a bone marrow transplant will be needed. Lyle McGillivray had a chance to chat with Kyla's aunt Taybrey Horton, and has found out more details on Kyla and how the southeast is supporting her family in many different ways.

Kyla enjoys riding horses, practicing her trick-riding, spending lots of time with her kitties and hanging out with her cousins and friends.

A fundraiser is planned for Saturday, February 11th in the Glen Ewen Communiplex. You can listen to the entire conversation and check out the link for ways to support the Dyer family. They also have on online auction on their Facebook page until Thursday night. Click here.

A Trust Fund has been set up at the Affinity Credit Union in Oxbow. You can e-transfer a donation Funds.for.kyla@outlook.com
