The 14U male Estevan Extreme volleyball club was slow out of the gate, but caught fire en route to a silver medal at the Brandon Volleyball Club Classic on the weekend.

The 14U Extreme won one of six round-robin games, placing fourth in their pool. But they rallied in the playoffs, beating the Winman Warriors 25-22, 25-20, Wheat City 25-13, 25-20, and the Winman Wolves 25-12, 25-8 to reach the finals. They fell to the Junior Pilots 23-25 and 21-25 in the finals, finishing with the silver medal in the 16-team tournament.

The 14U tournament was held on Friday and Saturday. Their team consists of: Adeon Sullivan, Bennett Walliser, Broden Henry, Cameron Milbrandt, Chayse Zohner, Jayden Durr, Kris Phillips, Logan Kolenz, Nathan Gardiner and Ryden Summers, with coach Bryton Such and assistant Mike Fisher.

The 15U volleyball teamThe 15U Estevan Extreme volleyball club finished in 5th of 12 teams in their tournament.

The 15U Extreme was second in their pool, and finished 5th of 12 teams during their tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

Estevan won three of six pool games. They opened the playoffs with a 19-25, 19-25 loss to the Aztecs, beat BVC 25-15, 25-22, and then took down 204 White 18-25, 25-19, 19-17.
