You can provide a boost to your community when you fill your gas tank up on September 20 with Southern Plains Co-op's Fuel Good Days.

The community-owned co-operative will be donating 10 cents per litre of fuel sold to support organizations in each of its three communities.

Money raised in Estevan will be going to the Estevan Public Youth Centre. Funds raised in Carlyle will be destined for the Carlyle and District Lions Club. And the proceeds in Oxbow will be given to the RM of Enniskillen Wellness Centre.

"They've been working on a brand new health centre," said Southern Plains Co-op Marketing Manager Brooke Spagrud. "Just to help improve the healthcare facilities and access to healthcare in that community."

Spagrud said that the team at Southern Plains Co-op has had the date circled on their calendar for a while.

"We're really excited. This is one of our biggest community donation events that we do annually. And it's a really great way for Southern Plains to give back to our communities."

You'll also be able to find us on location with the Million Dollar Auction at the Southern Plains Co-op Convenience Store on 4th Street in Estevan from 7 to 10 that morning. That's your chance to spin to win auction bucks, so you can bid on items - such as $250 of gift certificates for Southern Plains Co-op - during the grand finale on October 13.
