After weeks of speculation, the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool has unveiled its new name and logo.

Viterra, meaning 'Life from the Land', is the new name for the grain company, and features a logo with the word in blue and a blade of grass out of the V.

Viterra now handles approximately 58% of the grain in Western Canada, and consists of the United Grain Growers, as well as the Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta Wheat Pools.

The company is also projecting to bring in an average annual revenue of over 4 billion dollars.
