Roughly one month ago, RCMP officers in Carlyle arrested a 24-year-old man after finding cocaine and a pair of illegally-modified weapons at a home on White Bear First Nation.

RCMP recovered the items after executing a search warrant.

The Mounties said they found 36 grams of cocaine packaged into 68 small bags, two illegally modified firearms, drug trafficking equipment, and cash.

Jaymes Bigstone of White Bear First Nation was arrested and charged with multiple offences, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and trafficking.

He appeared in Carlyle Provincial Court on Wednesday. He was then remanded and will appear in court again on Dec. 1.
