With the warm weather heading to the Southeast this weekend, fans of the blue oval will be flocking to Bienfait. The annual All Ford Powered Show and Shine is back for the 9th year at the Bienfait Memorial Arena.

"Anyone who has a Ford-powered, vintage or collectible Ford, you're more than welcome to come out to Bienfait and enter your car in a little show and shine. We'll give some door prizes away. We'll have some recognition for some of the vehicles and we'll try and raise a little money for charity while we're at it," shared Tom Haygarth, one of the organizers of the event.

The event is being put together by the Knights of the Blue Oval, a group of Ford enthusiasts in the area. The beneficiary of the money raised will be the Bienfait Fire Department. When asked why the organization needed the lift, Haygarth said, "Simply because they're there."

"It's always beneficial, in my way of thinking, to help the fire department because they're there. I'm sure they can always use any help they can get and that's basically why. It's important to everybody [to have a] fire department that's dependable. No, I can't afford to pay it all, but I hope I can help a little bit."

The event runs from 10am to 4pm tomorrow, May 25. Ford fans wishing to register their vintage or collectible vehicles can contact Tom at (306) 634-5182 or Rob at (306) 461-4147. They can also email allclassicauto@gmail.com for more details. Registration is $10.
