Estevan will be receiving a new machine at the end of the week, that will look like but function differently from most ATMs.

This new machine will be focused on trading cryptocurrencies, with different options for people to choose from.

The machine is being set up by Quickbit, a Regina-based company that has its own brick-and-mortar store along with the ATMs.

In total, there are 10 set up around Saskatchewan, including the one set to be unveiled this Friday in Estevan.

We sat down to talk with the COO of Quickbit Leander McLean to talk about some of the history of cryptocurrencies in Saskatchewan.
