The Estevan Police Service reported that a Saskatoon resident called them, expressing concern for a family member in Estevan.

Police checked on the person, who appeared to be high on non-prescribed drugs.

Once police attended the apartment, the individual started a fire and was arrested for arson.

Police said the person was kept in cells "pending the investigation."
