The Energy City is abuzz with three minor ball teams hosting the Western Canadian Baseball Championships.

The weekend began with a barbeque and opening ceremonies at Lynn Prime Park Thursday evening that drew hundreds of people.

And Friday morning featured all three Estevan teams in action to start their divisions' tournaments.

The Estevan Brewers 18U AA squad kicked their weekend off with a game against the Elmwood Giants of Manitoba at Panteluk Park.

The 15U Brewers were taking on the South Island Royals of Victoria, B.C. at Mel Murray Cactus Park. 

And the 13U Brewers were also at Cactus for a showdown with the Camrose Cougars Royals.
