BOETTCHER:
 
Mrs. Laurie Lynn Boettcher of Alida, SK. passed away unexpectedly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on the island of Barbados on her birthday, Monday, March 26, 2018 at the age of 56.
 
Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; two sons: Justin (Alesha), and Chase (Jaelene) (their children, Wyatt, and Owen); mother, Lena Klein; two sisters: Shirley (Noble) Monkman, and Andrea (Jack) Morrow; brother-in-law, Barry Rowat; nephews, Brian Monkman (sons, Andrew, and Brett), and Aaron (Tara) Morrow (their children, Bryton, and Ashlyn); nieces, Kimberley (Scott) Kimmitt (their sons, Ryan, and Tyler), Jackie (Allen) Lukawesky (their son, Hunter), and Brooke Monkman (children, Taylor, and Ashley); in-laws, James and Mary Boettcher; her extended Boettcher relatives; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Andrew Klein; sister, Carol Rowat; nephews, Dean Monkman and Jason Rowat.
A funeral service for Laurie will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Oxbow, SK. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jason Schultz officiating. The interment will follow at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens in Estevan.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of Laurie may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St. Regina, SK. S4P 2R3. This charitable cause was near and dear to Laurie.
