Mr. Cameron Murray Collins of Oxbow, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, MB. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 83.

Cameron was the fifth child of Walter and Helen Collins. He took his schooling in the South Alameda District and then in Alameda.  On July 25, 1957, he married Irma Laval of the Redvers District. Cameron and Irma had two sons, Douglas and Keith.  He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen; wife, Irma in 1984; son, Doug in 2009; three brothers, Laurie, Bob, and Raymond; two sisters, June and Eleanor; two brothers-in-law, John Savage and David Shirley.  Cameron leaves to mourn his very special friend, Marjorie Johnson and her family; son, Keith and his children, Isabelle and Scott; Doug’s children, Ben and Mike; two brothers, Terry (Sheila) and Bill (Susan); three sisters, Muriel Shirley, Helen (Jules) Sureau, and Shirley Collins; also numerous nieces and nephews. 

A service to celebrate Cameron’s life will be held at a later date.  Donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 1st Street East, Brandon, MB. R7A 2W8 or to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB. R7A 2B3.
