Mr. Les Spencer of Carnduff, passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow, on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 95 years. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Eva in 1993; parents, Carl & Ida (Clements) Spencer; three siblings, Harold (Marj) Spencer, Lorna (Ernie) Boyd, and Charles (Norma) Spencer.  Les is survived by his son, Doug (Jan) Spencer of McLean, SK; daughter, Marlene (Peter) Cowle of Toronto; seven grandchildren, (Dallas (Carrie), Shane, Rhys (Kinnon) Spencer), (Chris (Jennifer), Tom (Nicole), Mathew, and Stephanie (Johnny) Cowle); eleven great-grandchildren, (Emma, Rachel & Tavin Cowle), (Clayton, Dustin, Rory, Arizona, Braylee, Gannon, Brandt, and Collyns Spencer); also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Les worked for Sask Power for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. In retirement he was an avid golfer and bowler, his greatest joy was his garden. 

A Celebration of Les' Life was held at the St. Andrew's United Church, Christian Education Building, Carnduff, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Susan Reed officiating. Interment followed at the Carnduff Cemetery.
