The Estevan Midget AA Apex Bruins almost made it 3 for 3 over the weekend, however, they had to settle for a draw against the Weyburn Wings on February 12th at Affinity Place.

It was a close fought game, as the Black and Gold net minder and his counterpart had nearly the same number of shots fired at them.

The first period was opened with an Estevan goal, and the lead was kept until after the first intermission, when two more Bruin pucks and two Weyburn were netted.

The final round saw one more goal from the home team, and two more from the visitors, bring the score to a 4-4 tie.

The Apex Bruins currently sit in first place in the league with a record of 28-4-3, and their next game could clinch that spot for the playoffs.

They will play the Millionaires in Melville on February 17th, and the action will begin at 7:15 PM.
