After a week to rest and prepare for another battle, the Estevan TS&M Bantam Bruins were back in action Saturday night.

They hosted the Battlefords Barons in Arcola at Praire Place, and came out victorious after a tough struggle.

The first period saw only one goal scored by the Black and Gold, but the second was better. Three goals were scored by the hosting team during that time, with goaltender Dylan Marshall allowing only one goal.

Marshall let one slip through in the third, but by that time it was too late for the visiting team, as their oppononts netted yet another two pucks, bringing the final score to 6-2.

The Bruins are now in 8th place in the South division, with a record of 5-12-3.

Their next game is January 20th, against the Regina Pat Blues, and it kicks off at 8:15pm.
