As hockey season approaches, the TS&M Bantam Bruins will head in with a new man on the bench.

Tom Copeland quietly resigned in the spring, leaving an open position that Blaine Chrest applied for and was accepted.

"It's a really good group of kids," said Copeland, "(There's) lots of returning players, I think they have all of them coming back, including up to eleven of them. (They have) a good start in net, all the way though to Defense, they should be having two solid lines coming back. And there's a couple promising peewee players coming through the system. It's a team that should compete for the South division at the very least, and hopefully for the league championship."

At this point, he shared that his main focus is developing and completing the soon-to-be Mike Sarada Center off the ground, in conjunction with the Junior A Estevan Bruins.
