All ten teams in the Saskota Baseball League took to the diamond on Tuesday night in the heat wave that has glued itself to the province. A few major wins highlighted the night, and had a major impact on the standings.

Tuesday, July 4th

Estevan Tower Wolves (7-0) over Kenosee Cubs

Redvers A's (17-2) over Southeast Fireballs

Arcola Threshers (7-5) over Carnduff Astros

Carlyle Cardinals (16-2) over Wawota Pats

Oxbow Chiefs (10-1) over Windthorst Pirates

The Tower Wolves shut out victory over Kenosee adds yet another win to their streak, bumping their record to 8-2-1. The loss drops the Cubs to 5-4-3. Redvers big win over the Fireballs cushions their standing to 5-7-1 as they look to lock up a playoff spot, while Southeast falls to 0-10-1. Arcola's tight win will now keep them close to the top of the standings with a 9-4 record, while Carnduff nows sits at 7-5. The Cardinals showed off why they're at the top of the standings on Tuesday, as their massive win bumps their record to 9-2-2. The loss for Wawota sees them fall to 4-8, with Windthorst having a chance to catch them for a playoff spot. Oxbows win moves them up to 7-4-3, and the Pirates drop to 2-10-1 with the loss.
