Senior men's hockey hit the ice again on Friday night with two games in the Big Six Hockey League.

The Midale Mustangs and Wawota Flyers faced off for a match between two similarly placed teams in the latter's rink. Justin Lamontagne opened the scoreboard for the Flyers around halfway through the first frame, which was then answered near the first intermission by Taylor Vandesype for Midale. Two more goals scored, this time unanswered, by Wawota in the second meant that the pair headed to the locker room 3-1. The third period saw Lamontagne add his third tally of the night, while Brad Tomiski added two to bring the final score to 4-3 for the home squad.

Meanwhile, the struggling Arcola/Kisbey Combines played host to the first place Carnduff Red Devils, and were promptly blown out of the water. 6 pucks were shot past Arcola's Rylan Kulyk without any reply to set the tone for the game. As they came out of the locker room for the second frame, the scoreboard still had yet to tally a goal for the home team. The Red Devils added 4 more in the second to make it 10-0, before Walker Hengen salvaged what would have been a shutout on Arcola and squeaked a puck in the Carnduff net with a little over a minute left to play. The final score read 10-1 for the visitors.
