Provincial hockey is underway across Saskatchewan and three teams in the Big Six Hockey League are hoping to hang a banner in their respective rinks at the end of March. This is the third of three teams previews.

PROVINCIAL 'C' - SOUTH QUARTERFINAL: Carlyle Cougars vs Theodore Buffaloes

The Carlyle Cougars finished 8th overall in the Big Six Hockey League with a (3-20-1) record. They are currently playing the league-leading Carnduff Red Devils in their Best-of-3 quarterfinal playoff series. Carlyle has added four members of the Big Six's Bienfait Coalers to add depth for their provincial run: Dylan Herzberg, Brennan Wrigley, Wyatt Garagan and Preston Erickson.
The Theodore Buffaloes finished 1st overall in the Triangle Hockey League with a (14-3-1) record. Theodore received a first round bye in playoffs and will now face the Ochapowace Thunder in a Best-of-5 semi-final.
