Provincial hockey is underway across Saskatchewan and three teams in the Big Six Hockey League are hoping to hang a banner in their respective rinks at the end of March.

This is the first of three teams previews, as we will also take a deeper look at the Wawota Flyers and Carlyle Cougars first round matchups in Provincial 'C' before their first game.

PROVINCIAL 'B' - SOUTH QUARTERFINAL: Carnduff Red Devils vs Rocanville Tigers

ED McMILLEN - CARNDUFF COACH:

The Carnduff Red Devils finished 1st overall in the Big Six (still have one game remaining) with a 18-4-1 record. They are playing the Carlyle Cougars in their Best-of-3 quarterfinal playoff series. Carnduff is adding depth for provincials by adding Oxbow's Taysen Holt (56 points) and Derek Cooney (54 points), and Redvers' Jordon Miller (41 points), Kevin Mann (25 points) and Brady Gaudet (24 points).

The Rocanville Tigers finished 3rd overall in the Triangle Hockey League with a 12-6-0 record. They are playing the Langenburg Warriors in their Best-of-3 quarterfinal playoff series.
