With three games on tap for Saturday night, the top spot in the standings was on the line, as well as a six game winning streak, and last year's champion look to get back on a winning streak after having their's broken two games ago.

Bienfait @ Midale

Coming into the game, the Mustangs were riding high on a six game winning streak with wins over some of the best teams in the league. As for the Coalers, they just won their last game after they had a three game winning streak snapped.

The Coalers would come out swinging in the first period and go ahead of the Mustangs 6:35 in when Wyatt Garagan would score.

A few minutes later, Dallas Kickley would add a tally that would start a hotstreak for him with thirteen minutes done in the game, and he'd score a second with less than a minute to go.

After the first, 3-0 Bienfait

The second period wouldn't add another goal towards the scoreboard as Bienfait's Jackson Walliser and Derek Tendler for Midale would shut things down.

For the third period, the Mustangs needed to get started on a comeback right away, and they'd get that from Steven Lindenbach, only 1:19 into the period.

That would be as close as the Mustangs would get, as the Coalers would start to fire back only thirty seconds later. Cole Piche would score his first of the game, and the Coalers would follow up big in the period.

Three more goals were added from Mason Benning, Dylan Herzberg, and the final goal coming from Dallas Kickley to finish off the hat trick.

FINAL SCORE: Bienfait 7 - 1 Midale

Carson Benning had four assists on four straight goals for the Coalers in the big win.

Redvers @ Kipling/Windthorst

For Redvers, they skated into this game with a big win over the Coalers the night before to get back on the winning side of things. For the Oil Kings, they had just suffered a big loss to the Rockets only two games ago with a score of 15-4, and haven't been able to get back on the winning side.

In the first period, the pressure from Redvers would get to Kipling/Windthorst in the first half. Koltyn Miller scored to put his team up by one, and Kenton Miller would add another to put the Rockets up by two befor ethe end of the period.

After one: 2-0 Redvers

The second period would start off similar, both goaltenders playing well and keeping pucks out of the net for the first half of the period before Redvers would finally get back on the board. Travis Piorier would score to put his team up by three, and more support from his team would come.

Dakota Rose would score the fourth of the game for Redvers as the Rockets poured shots on Oil King's goaltender Austin Toth all game long.

Toth would finally get some help from his team's offence as Rodney Reid would send one passed Thomas Bauche less than a mintue from the last Redvers goal.

Only a moment later, however, the comeback would be thwarted by Redvers when Remi Lamotte would score for the Rockets to end the period off.

After two: 5-1 Redvers

The thid period would again start the first ten minutes without a goal, but this time Kipling/Windthorst would get the first goal thanks to James Gallagher.

From there, five minutes would pass before the next goal would find its way into the net, and it would start a three goal run for Redvers to end the game thanks to Drew Hoff, Kenton Miller's second of the game, and a final tally from Franice Lamotte.

FINAL SCORE: Redvers 8 - 2 Kipling/Windthorst

Redvers fired 63 shots at Austin Toth in the entire game, whereas the Oil Kings only had 20 shots. Kenton Miller had ten points in the last two games and now has a vice grip on the league lead in points with 38 on the season.

Yellow Grass @ Carnduff

Yellow Grass with a win could tie with Carlyle once again at the top of the league in points with another game on the weekend to rocket them into sole possession of first, whereas the Carnduff Red Devils looked to extend to a three game winning streak after their last win, a big 10-0 victory over Arcola/Kisbey.

The first period would give the teams some time to feel each other out before the Red Devils would get on the board fifteen minutes in thanks to the stick of Trevor Geiger. That would stand as the lone goal of the period.

After one: 1-0 Carnduff

The second period would start off almost exactly the opposite with Yellow Grass scoring in the first minute and fifteen seconds when Devin Cobbold got his first of the game. Cobbold would follow up just three minutes later to put the Wheat Kings up by one for the first time of the game.

After that, the Red Devils would get on the board again with only three minutes left in the frame, again from Trevor Geiger.

After two: 2-2
