The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins have announced late on Friday that they've fulfilled their dispersal draft commitment to the Humboldt Broncos.

During the SJHL's Annual General Meeting in June, it was decided that a dispersal draft would be the method to replete the ranks of the team that lost 16 members to a tragic bus crash. However, Bruins Head Coach and General Manager Chris Lewgood worked out a 'future considerations' type deal instead, in an effort to project the Black and Gold's unit integrety.

This meant that the two clubs waited until both agreed on a good fit for a transfer. As of Friday, it was decided that defenceman Mark Edmands would be that fit.

Lewgood noted in a press release that the 19 year old's transfer north would provide a solid player to the Bronco's D line, instead of having him fight for ice time with other Bruins vets.

Edmands joined the Bruins in the 2015-16 season.
