Estevan Minor Lacrosse held their first ever Doug Harris, Harris Oilfield Construction Ltd. Memorial Lacrosse Day over the weekend to honor the late Doug Harris.

Seven teams from Estevan took on seven teams from Moose Jaw from 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m during a busy day at Affinity Place. Before the Pee Wee Voltz played Moose Jaw at noon, Estevan Minor Lacrosse President, Marc Seeman said a few words about Doug and the contributions he made to the program. Doug Harris's grandson Quinton Waldner also dropped the ceremonial ball before the start of the game.

"It was awesome, they all had fun," President Marc Seeman explained. "Doug was a huge part of Estevan Minor Lacrosse and Harris Oilfield Construction. They've been their since the beginning for lacrosse in Estevan, we definitely had to do something to show our appreciation and it turned out great."
