The ECS Elecs football team fell short in their final regular season game in Swift Current on Tuesday, losing 44-0 to the Colts.

Although the Elecs didn't manage to pick up a win this season, the young team from Estevan was able to make improvements as the season went along.

"It was close in the first half, we were only down 15-0 at half time." explained Elecs Head Coach Mark Schott. "We had some chances to get some points on the board and just couldn't finish off our drives."

"Swift Current came out with a couple big plays for touchdowns to start the second half and pulled away from there. It's not the result we were hoping for or expected, but we have to refocus for a playoff game in Moose Jaw on Saturday against the Peacock Tornadoes."

The Elecs will now travel to Moose Jaw on Saturday, October 14th to play the Peacock Tornadoes in the Moose Jaw High School Football League Quarter-finals. In their one regular season meeting this year, the Tornadoes beat the Elecs 76-22.
