With World Junior Lacrosse Nationals happening now in Mississauga, Ontario currently and Minor Box Lacrosse Nationals in Coquitlam, B.C. later this month, Estevan has five representatives at both tournaments.

At the Junior level, defenceman Wyatt Haux is the captain of Team Canada at the Worlds after playing a major role for the Saskatchewan SWAT. They played Australia in the first game of their round-robin play and had a big win 24-4.

They play team Israel Thursday night and a win would move Haux and the rest of Team Canada on to semi-finals.

In the Minor Box Lacrosse Nationals, Chase Foord is making his second appearance with team Saskatchewan on their Bantam team, and he'll be appearing next to his teammate Nathan Wagstaff. He can't wait to showcase his skill and chemistry with his teammate on the National stage.

"Me and Nathan have known each other for a while so on the floor it's really good because we know how each other play so well and so we play really well together."

Foord had to send some praise to his coaches this year, not only with the Voltz but with some of the coaches from out of town.

"My coach Deon Wagstaff helped me out a lot this year and Steve Michaluk from Moose Jaw also coached me a bit which was really great because Steve had never coached me before and it was a valuable opportunity."

Also playing for Team Saskatchewan is Kaden Chrest, who will take his talents to the Midget team, and Porter Crossman out of Carnduff is playing for the Peewee team.
