Starting this season, Estevan Minor Baseball will bring in a new system to replace their Mites divisions.

"It's pretty much the exact same thing as we already have, now it will just be under a nationally recognized brand call the DQ Rally Cap program," said Estevan Minor Baseball's High Performance Director, Blaine Kovach.

Although Kovach mentioned the similarities between what they were previously running, the new program will feature more in depth planning for those involved.

"This is a way for kids to have more structure and learning involved. It really gets the coaches involved more and helps them have practices planned, more structure and for the kids to have fun which is the main goal."

"It's important to Saskatchewan, it's important to Baseball Canada and I think it will do wonders here in Estevan," Kovach concluded.
