Estevan Minor Baseball made a few changes at last Tuesday's annual general meeting.

The biggest change coming out of the meeting is a name change for the travel teams.

"We're going to be moving all the travel teams from mosquito, pee wee, and bantam to one banner which will be the Estevan Brewers," shared President Ryan Siever.

As well, the board was expanded.

"We added a couple new positions, added a couple new members at large. We have nine people on the board now."

Siever moved from the president's role back to treasuer and Joe Williamson took over as president. Trevor Goetz will be the vice-president, Blaine Kovach remains as the High-performance director,  Nadine Linthicum remains as the secretary, Jarred Skuce stays on as the equipment manager and Jennifer Lacinski will move into the registration director position. The two members at large are Lesley Mittelholtz, former registration director and Adrian Frazer who recently joined the board.

As for his time as president, Seiver said that it was busy, but good.

"I got the things accomplished that I wanted to. IN my couple of years there, we implemented our bylaws and operating rules."

They've also seen a lot of growth in recent years.

"We've been growing our numbers slowly and we're still seeing that. We've got a good group of kids. Another thing we've been able to do is expand our umpiring ranks. This year we had well over 25 that came to the umpiring clinic."

He hopes to see continued success with their travel teams as well.
