More details have come to light regarding an incident that occurred several weeks ago, where a kid ran off from Woodlawn Field and prompted search parties and worry.

Turns out he was a member of a local minor football team, and due to some sort of upsetting moment, he took off.

"A couple weeks ago, we had a player that decided to leave practice without informing any of his parents parents or coaches, which resulted in...a lot of people looking for this child," stated Estevan Minor Football President Paul Duncan.

"He was found, safe and sound, a little bit later. We have talked that to child's parents, just on course of action, how kids need to come and talk to an adult. They can't just leave, regardless of how they feel at the time whether it's a bullying situation or they're tired or sick."

Duncan added that Estevan Minor Football takes a strong stance against bullying and such issues.
