Members of the Estevan Sharks Water Polo club competed in their final tournament of the year this past weekend in Calgary. The National Championship League Under 14 Western Finals, featured both boys and girls from the Sharks who represented the Prairies.

The boys team dropped their last game against Calgary, giving them a sixth place finish. Cameron Gillingham and Logan Marshall both scored in the loss. Estevan was well represented with Cameron Gillingham, Logan Marshall, Dylan Prysnyk, Ethan Elliot and Dierks Milford all participating on the weekend.

In the Under 14 girls results, the Prairies took down the Calgary Seawolves 21-3 in their final game, giving them a seventh place. Charlotte Andrist scored 9 goals in the lopsided victory. Andrist sisters, Charlotte, Josie and Alex were joined by Mikayla Hack, Maria Banulius and Abbygael Birnie on the girls team.

On May 26-28, Teaghen Hack and Emily Marshall will represent Saskatchewan at the Under 16 National Championship finals in Calgary. After coming home with silver last year, both Hack and Marshall will look to bring home a national title as they represent Team Sask.
