Motors roared and dust hung in the air at the Estevan Motor Speedway on Saturday night, as the second race event of the year and the first points night took place.

4 divisions were in competition, and of course each one had a victor.

Young Bailey Cousins came away with the win in the Slingshots feature.

The Hobby Stock race became a heated battle for first, with the caution flag being flown after nearly every lap.

Devin Gonas jockeyed his way to the front of the pack in time for the checkers.

"For a while I thought that there were a lot of cough-ins and it got a little rough out there, but once things started rolling a bit it went pretty smooth."

"For the second time out in the car, I thought it was handling pretty good," he added, crediting his brother's skills in preparing the car to his win.

In the Street Stock division, Chris Hortness made his way into the victor's ring.

"I knew it was going to be around the tires, the way the track was, so I knew that if I got out front it would be pretty hard to get around me," he said.

Chris Hortness took home the Street Stock feature.

The IMCA Modified feature saw Kody Scholpp cross the finish line in the lead.

"I just bided my time and knew that I could get by," he stated.

Kody Schlopp won the IMCA Modified feature.
