Kieran Stewart found the back of the net for the Bantam Estevan TS&M Bruins on Sunday, but that would be all as the Bruins fell 4-1 to the Saskatoon Generals.

The Oxbow native put the Bruins up 1-0 just five minutes into the opening period on a goal from Adrien Riddell and Cade Bendtsen. The Bruins would take that lead into the second frame after Saskatoon out shot Estevan 11-10 after the first.

The Generals poured on the offense in the second period and out shot the Bruins 23-3. Wasting no time, Saskatoon would get on the board with back to back goals one minute apart to take a 2-1 lead heading into the final period.

With a pair of late goals, the Generals would seal the deal on a 4-1 win, out shooting the Bruins in the third 12-4, for a three period total of 46-17. Zane Winter stopped 42 of 46 for a strong effort in the loss.

Losing their third straight game, Estevan will have a few days off before heading to Swift Current on Friday in a South Division match up with the Swift Current Kabos Broncos. The puck drops at 5:30 from Fairview West.
