It was one tough start to the season on Saturday for the Estevan Century 21 Border Real Estate Peewee Chargers, as they suited up for the first game of the season.

The kids headed up to Moose Jaw where they took on the Vikings, and were promptly overrun. The Vikings took a 49-0 victory from the Chargers, placing themselves at the top of the standings early and leaving Estevan tied for 6th, or last, with Weyburn.

"We are a young team, so it was a good learning experience for everybody. There was a lot of good things, and a lot of things we need to work on," stated Head Coach Jason Bresciani.

The Chargers hit the field again on September 8th, visiting the Assiniboia Rockets.
