The top three teams in senior men's baseball picked up important wins on Thursday night to keep up in the race for first place. Heading into the last two weeks of Saskota League play, it looks like things will come down to the wire.

Thursday, July 13th

Arcola Threshers (18-5) over Southeast Fireballs

Carlyle Cardinals (11-8) over Kenosee Cubs

Estevan Tower Wolves (15-5) over Carnduff Astros

Arcola's win bumps their record to 12-5-0, good enough for third place. The Fireballs drop to 0-13-1 with the loss. Carlyle bounced back after being shut out on Tuesday, and now sit in second place at 11-3-3. The Cubs loss pushes them to the .500 mark at 6-6-3. With the Tower Wolves winning once again on Thursday night, they have now gone 10-0-1 in their last eleven, improving their record to 11-2-1 atop of the Saskota League standings.
