The Saskota Baseball League is set to determine who will wear the league crown this year, through the Harbourne Memorial Tournament.

The Oxbow Chiefs hold first place in the standings with only one loss to their account all season long. However, that single loss was to the Estevan Tap House Wolves, who are not only nipping at the Chiefs' heels in placement, but looking to defend the championship title.

That said, any team that puts in a good weekend has a shot at winning it all if they can string together a few wins, and that means that the third place Carlyle Cardinals (12-5-1) could pose a threat to the top two powerhouses.

The round robin action gets underway on Friday evening, as Oxbow opens up with the Southeast Fireballs at home and closes with the Fireballs playing the Redvers A's in Kenosee Sunday morning, before the medal placement games begin.
