A flurry of highlight activity both ways rode the shoulders of one player on Saturday for the Estevan Bantam Bearcats, while it only went one way on Sunday.

Hosting the Wood River Ice Cats on December 1st, Mckenna Walls put Estevan on the scoresheet first. However, the Ice Cats began to sink the ship with three straight goals before Walls managed to close the gap with another goal. Wood River scored once more, and that was just the first period.

Walls` hot stick came through for the Bearcats in the second frame with three straight markers, two within six seconds of each other, followed by two more from Wood River. She found the net once again before the Ice Cats made it 7-5 heading into the third period.

They would score once more in that frame, and that was it. Mckenna Walls` teammates` sticks finally came alive with four goals to overcome the Ice Cats 10-8. Kamri Olfert, Hannah Terrett, Kiley Davis and Karissa Elliot received credit in the effort.

On Sunday, it was Walls once again finding the net to open the scoring. Terrett and Caydence Chapman each added a tally, Walls adding her second of the period as well. She potted yet another one to start the second frame, followed by Jacey Farr and Karissa Elliot. In the third, Jaena Nestman managed to sneak a puck past Emmey Rae to put Milestone on the board, but Walls scored her fourth of the night, her tenth of the weekend, to give the Bearcats a 9-1 victory.
