In back to back games against the Melville Millionaires, the Pee Wee AA Estevan Westmoreland Bruins found the back of the net 14 times on their way to a win and loss over the weekend.

During game one on Saturday, Colton Pushie opened the scoring for the Bruins on the power-play just five minutes into the period. Emmett McCarthy would double the Bruins lead at the mid-way point before the Millionaires cut the lead in half at 8:19. In the last five minutes, Carson Birnie scored an unassisted marker to extend the Bruins lead to 3-1 after the first.

Coming 23 seconds apart in the second period, Ty Hoste and Carson Birnie would score back to back power-play goals to give the Bruins a commanding 5-1 lead heading into the third.

Carson Birnie completed the hat-trick in the third, while Jordon Marcotte added a short handed single. Melville would add one more, but that would be all from the Power Dodge Ice Centre as the Westmoreland Bruins cruised to a 7-2 win.

The Bruins and Millionaires put on a show during Sunday's rematch which saw the two clubs combine for 15 goals.

In the first period, Melville jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after scoring a pair in the opening 2:31. Ryan Hansen, Emett McCarthy and Ty Hoste erased the Bruins deficit and combined to score three for Estevan before the end of the first.

Tate Kasick and Ty Hoste extended the Bruins lead to 5-2 before Melville would add one and score a pair on the power-play to tie the game at 5-5 heading into the final period.

Melville would jump out of the gate early in the third and grab their second lead of the game at 6-5. Around one minute later, Kersey Hollingshead would tie the game, only to see Melville respond twice to take an 8-6 lead. Jordon Marcotte would get his second of the weekend to cut the lead to one, but that's as close as the Bruins would come as they would fall 8-7 to Melville.

Now 6-16-0, the Westmoreland Bruins sit in a last place tie with the Moose Jaw Warriors. With three games left on their regular season schedule, Estevan will take on the first place Yorkton Terriers twice and the Moose Jaw Warriors once.
