The Xtreme Scratchers brought it right down to the 8-ball of the final match on Wednesday, but lost to a team from California. This ends their run in the APA World Tournament in Las Vegas.

The Xtreme Scratchers kept themselves alive Wednesday morning in the APA World Pool Tournament in Las Vegas.

We were up by 3 going into the last match. They needed to sweep Steven. Once he had one game, they couldn’t catch us in points.

The Scratchers are back in play at 2:00 PM on Wednesday.

It was one close match for the Estevan Xtreme Scratchers as they got started in the APA World Pool Tournament on Tuesday.

Their first opponent was a team from Los Angles. Jesse Berriault lost 1-2 while Steven Lalonde managed to edge his competitor 2-1. John Wells went 1-2, as did Derek Lawrence, but Tess Daoust saved the day with a win for two points to tie things up. Another loss, however, put the Scratchers at 7-8 in sudden death.

They return to the tables again at 8:00 AM Wednesday morning searching for a win, as another loss removes them from the tournament.
