The 7th Annual Radiothon for Life kicked off this morning at 6 AM raising money for the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation.

"The Radiothon is going well," shared Greg Hoffart, the Executive Director at the hospital. "It's encouraging to see. It just never ceases to amaze me the generosity of our community that steps forward each and every time we need them to."

"This is a critical day for St. Joseph's Hospital in terms of getting our professionals the equipment and tools they need and to manage St. Joseph's Hospital and to treat our patients."

Marian Huber, with the Adult Program, shared how important this is.

"Typically I would get grants from the City or National grants, none of those came through. However, the foundation actually helped out a year ago. We did a room where we had new bathtub put in and I think it came out to be about $45,000-$50,000 by the time it was all said and done. So with partnerships and donations, we were able to do that."

"Recently I had a bath chair break so the foundation funded that $12,500."

Stay tuned for more updates throughout the day.
