A significant heat wave has moved into the province taking us from our normal daytime highs of about -6 all the way to +6 and that has some folks wondering about the holiday season feeling festive.

The system slid through Tuesday and while there is snow mentioned in the forecast, it's not expected to last for long. In fact, it could very well lead to icy roads and highways as it melts.

We haven't had that much snow, to begin with, and there's a chance this warmer weather could lead to a brown Christmas. The warming trend is expected to stick around for the better part of a week.
