Highway 39 west leaving Estevan is blocked to all traffic at this time after a collision between a high load and the train bridge around 9:00am Tuesday morning.

Estevan Police and Fire are on the scene where a semi carrying a large backhoe has struck the train overpass, causing the backhoe to fall off the trailer and block traffic.

"No injuries have been reported," adds EPS Deputy Police Chief Murray Cowan. "We're asking the public to use alternate routes until that scene is cleaned up."

"It will likely be some time before crews get it cleaned up."
