It was a weekend of fun for the town of Carlyle as they held their 16th annual Dickens Village Festival. They kicked the festival off on Friday morning with breakfast with Santa and many other activities including sleigh rides, a parade of lights, Tiny Tim's Taste tour and more for the whole family throughout the day.

The event is run by volunteers and mainly free, the only activities that required money were the High Tea, the Play and the supper food. There was a great turnout although numbers were down a little due to the foggy weather.

Although it was only two days every person in attendance enjoyed the Festivities and the amazing outfits worn by the community.
