As part of a month-long investigation, the Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit executed simultaneous Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrants at two locations in and near Stoughton. 
 
This has resulted in three adult males being charged as follows:
 
24-year-old Dustin Rowlands of Stoughton, SK:
 A total of nine firearms and other offences including:
 
  •       Careless storage of a firearm -Section 86(1) CC
  •       Unlawful possession of a firearm-Section 91(1) CC
  •       Possession of a prohibited firearm-Section 95 CC
  •       Possession of stolen property-firearm-Section 355(b) CC
  •       possession of a controlled substance-Fentanyl-Section 4(1) CDSA
 
25-year-old James Thomas of Edmonton, AB:
 A total of nine firearms and other offences including:
 
  •       Careless storage of a firearm-Section 86(1) CC
  •       Unlawful possession of a firearm-Section 91(1) CC
  •       Possession of a prohibited firearm- Section 95 CC 
  •       Possession of stolen property-firearm-Section 355(b) CC
  •       Possession of a controlled substance-Fentanyl-Section 4(1) CDSA
 
25-year-old Randy Payton of Stoughton, SK:
 A total of 27 firearms and other offences including:
 
  •       Possession of a prohibited firearm-Section 95 CC
  •       Possession of stolen property,-firearm-Section 355(b) CC
  •       Use of a firearm in a careless manner- Section 86 (1) CC
  •       Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace- Section 88 CC
  •       Possession of a weapon obtained by commission of an offence- CC
  •       Possession of a controlled substance-Fentanyl-Section 4(1) CDSA

All three appeared in court in Weyburn on Februrary 15th, and are remanded until their next appearance in Regina Provincial Court, on February 17th.
