Estevan City Council is getting ready to convene tonight with a full agenda starting off with a presentation from Souris Moose Mountain MP, Dr Robert Kitchen.

"We'll be pleased to see Dr Kitchen and get an update on everything he's been doing," shared Mayor Roy Ludwig

As well, there will be a number of reports and petitions presented.

"MNP has done our financial audit so we'll get to go over that. We've got Mr Sereggela from The Tower that would like to put a patio out front so we will be discussing that."

There will also be a few special event permit requests including one from the Estevan Eels for their swimming provincial meet coming up on July 28th.

"We've got our ice allocation policy we'll be passing and we appreciate the input from all of our user groups. They really came to the table this year and we very much appreciate that."

Council will also be updating an appeals board and will look to pass the borrowing bylaw for the year.

City Council starts tonight at 6 pm from City Hall.

Check back tonight for a full recap of the meeting.
